Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens. - Carl Jung
When we close our eyes for sleep, we enter the mysterious, compelling, and often perplexing world of dreams. Figures and images of our dream life have something to tell us, something that speaks to situations and themes in our daily life, and even may have something to share about the future. Often, however, we cannot understand the language of our dreams.
In embodied dreamwork, we go beyond traditional methods of interpreting dreams to work with the images in creative dialogue, called animation, that gives a space for the dream images to have their own voice and share their own messages. Dreams have specific presence and place, and even an imaginal body, and listening to what dream figures have to tell us can enrich our daily life and guide us on our spiritual journeys.
In a dreamwork sessions we will:
Work with dreams and dream images as living presences that have information to share.
Use our bodies to go beyond rational interpretation of dreams to feel into the energy of dreams in a direct and visceral way.
Dialogue with dream images to listen to their wisdom
Learn skills to work with dream images on your own
